I was commissioned by Sahan Jayawardena to contribute this series of illustrations to his documentary, titled "The People's Game." The documentary chronicles the Sri Lankan Civil War and how the sport of cricket pulled them through their darkest time. Each Illustration represents a significant event during the Civil War. The illustrations were created with the parallax technique in mind. Each piece was painted with sumi ink on separate layers, then composited in Photoshop and animated in After Effects.
