"As Far Away As Outer Space" is a story of a mother and son who aren't on the same page. Grappling with her own fears, and late for work, Mom is less than thrilled when Jimmy isn't ready to leave in the morning. When she goes upstairs to get him, she finds his room has turned into the International Space Station, Jimmy is nowhere to be found-- and the monstrous noises echoing the halls of the space station don't bode well for his fate.
In searching for her son, Mom will come to understand that she and her son struggle with fear in the same way-- and they'll leave closer than they were before.
The end goal for this project is a complete set of beatboards for what would be ultimately be a short film.
